“This will be long winded so for starters 100/10 – Danielle is amazing!
I first found Danielle after some endless scrolling on Tiktok. From there – I saw the beautiful portfolio of work that she had on her Instagram and reached out for a free consultation. In talking to Danielle about my stationary wants for my wedding, I felt like she could offer me everything I wanted. After getting my quote – and loving the person behind the business – I decided to hire Danielle for my stationary needs for our wedding and I was so happy with my decision!
First – were the save the dates! I knew that I wanted a magnet with our picture on it – but that was just about it. She worked with me through countless iterations and font types and sizes and alignments later to get it exactly what I wanted. Plus, her expertise in the business informed me that I need to go to the post office to mail them rather than putting them in the blue USPS drop boxes to ensure that the magnetic save the dates would not stick to the boxes. A little yet super important detail that I totally would have overlooked if it had not been for her.
I got engaged in 2019 and as such only had time to start planning and get the save the dates out before covid shook things up. Luckily – I was not far along enough in the process whereby I was already drafting/printing invitations that needed to be changed with a new date - but as my now husband and I figured out if we were moving our wedding or just having a smaller one – Danielle was so accommodating and just told us not to worry! Once we picked a new date, she then helped us create the wedding invite timeline to ensure we were organized in our planning efforts.
For the invitation – I was no easier a client than I was for the save the dates. I knew I wanted letter press, a monogram at the top and watercolor liner. We went back and forth on everything – from the language to the alignment and the never-ending font style discussions until it was exactly what I wanted. We picked ribbon color together to ensure the perfect match to my bridesmaid dresses and discussed the pros and cons to having my entire invitation suite letterpress v. just the invitation. Once all the styling was done – Danielle printed and sent to me a mock invite (without letter press) so that I could see how it would all come together with the invite, return envelope, RSVP and ribbon and wax seal coloring. We made final edits together and off the invites went to get printed via letterpress. All the while – my indecisiveness continued, and we attempted to create a watercolor envelope liner. She wound up helping me find the perfect Esty shop owner to design a custom watercolor of my venue and then help to ensure the perfect fit into my envelopes by assisting me with talking with the Esty shop owner to ensure everything was perfect. My invitations came together, and I know I’m bias, but they were beyond beautiful, and I got so many compliments about how it set the stage for what my wedding would be. My invitations were so elegant, sophisticated and in line with my vision for the wedding, yet they weren’t $10k+ like some of the actual quotes that I had received when starting this process. I was so relieved that I could have the invitation of my dreams – completely custom – without spending a complete fortune.
If the invitation process wasn’t enough – I leaned on Danielle some more. There were welcome programs, menus, and seating charts that I needed to figure out and so I started with Danielle. She didn’t disappoint. At the end, when planning your wedding, there are a ton of small details that pile up and the feeling is nothing short of overwhelming. It was such a comfort to know I had Danielle – who was familiar with my vision and there to help me tie all the small things together in a bow. She came through and all our stationary needs were perfect and the “icing on the cake” so to speak for our big day.
I may not be getting married again – but you bet if I ever need any additional stationary needs – Danielle will forever be my girl! Thank you again for everything you did for me! You helped make my wedding perfect!”
